Basketball Game Preview: McDonough Warhawks vs. Stockbridge Tigers

Two dominant forwards in Jadah Rembert and Kahli Ingram are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The McDonough Warhawks will head out on the road to face off against the Stockbridge Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. McDonough will be strutting in after a victory while Stockbridge will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, McDonough was able to grind out a solid win over Eagle's Landing, taking the game 41-34.

Rembert continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 24 points. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amira Carter, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, Stockbridge didn't have quite enough to beat Woodland on Thursday and fell 54-52.

McDonough's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-14. As for Stockbridge, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-4.

McDonough might still be hurting after the 65-43 loss they got from Stockbridge in their previous meeting on January 7th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Ingram, who earned 14 points along with six boards and six steals. Now that McDonough knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
