Soccer Recap: Scituate Comes Up Short

After flying high against Quincy on Monday, Scituate came back down to earth. The Sailors fell just short of the Hingham Harbormen by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Scituate haven't had much luck with Hingham recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Scituate's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Hingham, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Scituate is set to challenge their familiar foe Pembroke at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hingham will face off against rival Whitman-Hanson Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
