Volleyball Recap: Darby Horn Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Warren Central

Jackson Academy won the last time they faced Warren Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Jackson Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-17.

Jackson Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Darby Horn out in front who had 22 assists. That's the most assists Horn has posted since back in September of 2024.

Jackson Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-0-1. As for Warren Central, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Jackson Academy will challenge Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warren Central, they will head out to square off against Madison Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
