Daviess County waltzed into their game on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Logan County Cougars by a score of 56-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-36 back in December of 2024.

Daviess County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lily Hoagland, who went 5-for-8 en route to 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Kennedy Lane was another key player, going 9-for-19 to rack up 20 points.

Daviess County pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. As for Logan County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season.
