Volleyball Recap: Winston County Comes Up Short

Winston County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Mountain Eagles.

Winston County's loss dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Oak Mountain, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 15-17.

Winston County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Fort Payne on the 4th. As for Oak Mountain, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Lawrence County on the 4th.
