Basketball Recap: Metro Deaf Cheetahs vs. Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits

This season hasn't been kind to the Metro Deaf Cheetahs, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They were outmatched by Kansas School for the Deaf on the road and fell 50-4.

Kansas School for the Deaf's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but EJ Wigley led the charge by scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wigley has scored all season. Orlando Cobos-Sosa was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.

Metro Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Metro Deaf will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Firebirds at 1:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Wisconsin School for the Deaf is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Bison at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Oklahoma School for the Deaf is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
