Baseball Game Preview: Milby Buffs vs. Austin Mustangs

For the second straight game, Milby will face off against Austin. Milby will be playing at home against Austin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Milby will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Milby made easy work of Austin and carried off an 8-2 win. The Buffs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Milby got a great performance from Armando Briagas as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Those three hits allowed gave Briagas a new career-low.

At the plate, Jacob Morales was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Woodrad-Hicks Dre'Lyn was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

With the defeat, Austin broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-8. As for Milby, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
