Softball Recap: Dublin Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brownfield, Dublin was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the San Saba Armadillos by a score of 9-4.

Adriana Stewart was a standout: she scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3. Jocelyn Perez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Dublin hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in four consecutive matches.

The win got Dublin back to even at 5-5. As for San Saba, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Dublin will challenge Brady at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Saba has already played their next game (against Gorman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
