Softball Recap: Amundsen Vikings vs. Kennedy Crusaders

Amundsen won against Evergreen Park last Monday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Everything went Amundsen's way against the Kennedy Crusaders as Amundsen made off with a 9-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Amundsen let Lydia Hulliberger and Kate Frey run wild. Hulliberger scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances, while Frey went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Those four stolen bases gave Hulliberger a new career-high. Anneliese Otero was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
