Volleyball Game Preview: Tigerton Tigers vs. Almond-Bancroft Eagles

The Tigerton Tigers will face off against the Almond-Bancroft Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tigerton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Tigerton's win against White Lake wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lakers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since August 28th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Tigerton got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 24-26, 25-13, 17-25, 15-4.

Meanwhile, Almond-Bancroft hadn't done well against Rosholt recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 3-1.

Tigerton's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Almond-Bancroft, their win bumped their record up to 12-17.
