Recap: Timberland T-Wolves vs. Holt Indians
The Timberland T-Wolves were the 21-0 winner over the Holt Indians when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Timberland took a serious blow against Holt on Friday, falling 63-14. Timberland was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.
Ayden Sullivan was on fire for Holt: he threw for 351 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt. Another player making a difference was Anthony Keller, who picked up 135 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Timberland has fallen quite a ways from their 9-4 record last season and are now at 2-7. As for Holt, their win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3.
Timberland will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Fort Zumwalt South at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. As for Holt, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mexico at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mexico will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Holt is ranked 58th).
