Softball Recap: Deer Park Comes Up Short

Deer Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Norwood Indians. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2018.

Grace Louden was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kailey Thomas, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Norwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Deer Park will take on Mt. Healthy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norwood, they will venture away from home to take on Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
