Volleyball Recap: Melba Takes a Loss

Melba saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Borah Lions. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Borah to victory were Alina Bout and Dawnley King. Bout had six aces and four digs, while King had eight assists.

Melba's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Borah, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Melba and Borah will both be playing Mountain View the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Mavericks at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on September 4.
