Dover took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 59-32 win over Perry. The victory continues a trend for the Crimson Tornadoes in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Zanesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-47 heartbreaker at the hands of Granville. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 424th, while the Blue Aces are ranked 192nd).

Dover's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Zanesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.
