Softball Preview: Boiling Springs Bulldogs vs. Gaffney Indians
The Boiling Springs Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Gaffney Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Gaffney took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Boiling Springs, who comes in off a win.

The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Generals, sneaking past 9-8. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Gaffney's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of James F. Byrnes. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Indians couldn't push the score so high this time.
Gaffney's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Boiling Springs, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
Boiling Springs beat Gaffney 8-4 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
