Volleyball Game Preview: Lake Wales Highlanders vs. Sebring Blue Streaks + Official Tickets

The Lake Wales Highlanders will take on the Sebring Blue Streaks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Wales will be strutting in after a win while Sebring will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Lake Wales made easy work of Avon Park and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

While Lake Wales won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Sebring came up short against LaBelle on Thursday and fell 3-1. While the Blue Streaks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cowboys/Cowgirls 25-17 in the first set.

Sebring started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-23.

The victory got Lake Wales back to even at 12-12. As for Sebring, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

Everything went Lake Wales' way against Sebring in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Lake Wales made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Blue Streaks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
