Basketball Recap: Missisquoi Valley Comes Up Short

Missisquoi Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 45-29 to the Lyndon Institute Vikings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunderbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-29 last Thursday.

Missisquoi Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lyndon Institute, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Missisquoi Valley will host Vergennes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lyndon Institute, they will be playing at home against Spaulding at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
