Volleyball Game Preview: Vallejo Redhawks vs. Kennedy Eagles

The Vallejo Redhawks will challenge the Kennedy Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Vallejo and Bethel had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Redhawks lost 3-0 to the Jaguars on Monday.

Meanwhile, Kennedy entered their game against Pinole Valley on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Kennedy ultimately came up short, they really made Pinole Valley work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24, 21-25, 18-25, 15-8.

Vallejo's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
