Basketball Recap: Methodist Children's Home Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Methodist Children's Home can now relate to. They had to suffer through an 83-22 loss at the hands of the Trinity Christian Academy Warriors. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-17.

It was another big night for Luke Nutt, who shot 5-for-5 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine boards for Trinity Christian Academy. The matchup was Nutt's third in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Rolen, who on his way to 16 points and six rebounds.

Methodist Children's Home's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

Methodist Children's Home does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-58 win against Grace Academy on the 20th.
