Volleyball Recap: Dunwoody Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Dunwoody had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Lanier Longhorns. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Dunwoody was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 19 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19.

Lanier pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Dunwoody and Lanier will both be playing Mill Creek the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Longhorns will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
