Soccer Recap: Punahou Finds Playoff Glory Versus Hilo

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Punahou walked away with it. They never let the Hilo Vikings get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. Aina Nakamura was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Punahou has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those eight contests. As for Hilo, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

As of now, neither Punahou nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
