Basketball Recap: Avoca Central Takes a Loss

Avoca Central was the 69-36 winner over Dundee when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Avoca Central Tigers lost 54-33 to the Dundee Scotsmen on Tuesday. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Avoca Central's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dundee, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Avoca Central is taking a road trip to take on Arkport Central at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Arkport Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Avoca Central likes a good challenge. As for Dundee, they will face off against Odessa-Montour at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
