Preview: Camp Hill Lions vs. Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers
Camp Hill is 2-8 against Steelton-Highspire since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Camp Hill Lions on the road again and play against the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Camp Hill didn't have too much trouble with East Juniata on the road as they won 56-40. That 16 points margin sets a new team best for Camp Hill this season.
Meanwhile, even though La Academia Charter scored an imposing 57 points on Saturday, Steelton-Highspire still came out on top. Steelton-Highspire snuck past La Academia Charter with a 62-57 victory. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Steelton-Highspire as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Camp Hill's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13. As for Steelton-Highspire, they pushed their record up to 6-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Camp Hill came up short against Steelton-Highspire when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 53-49. Can Camp Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
