Westerly had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the South Kingstown Rebels, posting a 54-20 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Ella Reyes was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten steals. Reyes is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Madison Pellegrino, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Westerly smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive matches.

Westerly pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points over those games. As for South Kingstown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Westerly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-35 victory against Moses Brown on the 21st. South Kingstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
