Bangor had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Pen Argyl Green Knights by a score of 12-7. This was a revenge game for the Slaters: when they faced off against the Green Knights back in March, they had to take a 7-0 defeat.

Jaxson Kreider made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in eight consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and two RBI. He has become a key player for Bangor: the team is 7-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-8 otherwise.

In other batting news, Owen Mera was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three RBI and one run. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Lincoln Rehrig was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Bangor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 6-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Bangor's record is now 11-9. As for Pen Argyl, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

As of now, neither Bangor nor the Green Knights have any future games scheduled.
