Basketball Recap: Valley Victorious

After losing to Wheelersburg the last time they met, Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Valley Indians narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wheelersburg Pirates 67-64.

Valley is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Wheelersburg, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against Wheelersburg: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
