Baseball Recap: Chaminade Red Devils vs. Rockwood Summit Falcons
Chaminade had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockwood Summit Falcons on Saturday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.
Chaminade got a good showing from Charlie Hobbs, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Chaminade saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Litteken, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
The victory got Rockwood Summit back to even at 1-1.
Coming up, Chaminade will venture away from home to square off against Pacific at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockwood Summit, they will take on Kirkwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
