Softball Recap: Snook Takes a Loss

Snook lost a heartbreaker to Burton when they met back in March of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Snook came up short against Burton, falling 10-0. The Bluejays have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Burton's batters probably weren't too happy with Aubrey Becker, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (she gave up six walks). Becker has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

Snook's record is now 5-11-1. As for Burton, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Snook Bluejays challenge Milano Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burton, they will take on Mumford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
