Basketball Recap: Paul Robeson Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Paul Robeson can now relate to. They fell 56-47 to the Constitution Generals on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Generals: they've now lost six in a row.

Constitution's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alantay Dawson, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. What's more, Dawson posted five steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Young, who earned 12 points and six rebounds.

Paul Robeson's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Constitution, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-10.

As of now, neither Paul Robeson nor Constitution have any future games scheduled.
