Baseball Recap: Sullivan Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Sullivan finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Washington Bluejays. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

The loss snapped Sullivan's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-11 record. As for Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sullivan will head out to face off against St. Clair at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Washington, they will venture away from home to challenge St. Charles West at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
