Basketball Recap: Concordia's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Concordia won the last time they faced Arlington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Concordia Mustangs strolled past the Arlington Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 56-38. The team accrued 42 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

When it comes to explaining why Arlington lost, don't look at Trent Koger. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. Koger is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last four games he's played. Oliver Ladehoff was another key player, putting up ten points.

The win was the third in a row for Concordia, bringing their record for this year to 20-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Arlington, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-11.
