There's no place like home for Notre Dame Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hingham Harbormen 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Notre Dame Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 18-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-13.

Ashlynn Shaughnessy paced Notre Dame Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Shaughnessy got some help from Amelia Burgoyne and her 21 assists. Aislinn Friday controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Notre Dame Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Hingham, they moved to 10-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
