Soccer Game Preview: Sweet Home vs. Clarence

The Sweet Home Panthers will take on the Clarence Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Sweet Home put up the most goals they have all season on Monday. They came out on top against Holland by a score of 4-2. Considering Sweet Home's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Clarence entered their tilt with Orchard Park on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They walked away with a 5-3 victory over the Quakers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 3, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Clarence's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Sweet Home, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
