Baseball Game Preview: Evansville Harrison Warriors vs. Evansville Reitz Panthers

Evansville Harrison is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Evansville Memorial on Wednesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Crue Begle, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Cayden McGrew was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

Evansville Reitz was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Evansville Reitz's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Evansville Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.
