Soccer Game Preview: Seneca vs. Daniel

Seneca is 0-10 against Daniel since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bobcats will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Seneca is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

If Seneca beats Daniel with two goals on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out Travelers Rest 2-1 on Monday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Daniel was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell just short of Hillcrest by a score of 2-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Daniel couldn't quite close it out.

Daniel's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Seneca, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Seneca couldn't quite get it done against Daniel in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
