Basketball Recap: Lisbon Takes a Loss

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Madison Bulldogs, falling 82-45. The Greyhounds lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 46-35 score last time.

Lisbon's record now sits at 1-14. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lisbon will challenge Oak Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they will face off against Spruce Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Spruce Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Madison likes a good challenge.
