Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Swansea). They put the hurt on the Pelion Panthers with a sharp 51-27 victory on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-20 back in December of 2024.

Swansea is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.6 points per game. As for Pelion, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Swansea will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Keenan at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Pelion, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Columbia at 6:00 p.m. Pelion is facing Columbia at the right time seeing as Columbia is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
