Baseball Game Preview: Classical Academy Caimans vs. Francis Parker Lancers

For the second straight game, Classical Academy will face off against Francis Parker. The Caimans will welcome the Lancers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

While Classical Academy's win against Francis Parker wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Caimans skirted past the Lancers 3-1. The Caimans haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Chaeton Revilla looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Classical Academy: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 9-14 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Justus Smith was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Dylan Perry was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Francis Parker is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17-1. As for Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-15.
