West Point won the last time they faced Colonial Beach and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pointers put the hurt on the Drifters with a sharp 13-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pointers, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for West Point and bumps their season record up to 12-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Colonial Beach, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Coming up, West Point will face off against Mathews at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.22 runs per game on average), something the Pointers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Colonial Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
