Football Recap: Niles Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Niles Notre Dame lost against Joliet Catholic back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dons fell 16-7 to the Hilltoppers. The matchup marked the Dons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Niles Notre Dame is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Joliet Catholic, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Niles Notre Dame will face off against Brother Rice at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so the Dons' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Joliet Catholic, they will challenge Chicago Mt. Carmel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
