Downers Grove North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 49-25 margin over Neuqua Valley. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Plainfield North took on Oswego on Tuesday. Everything went Plainfield North's way against Oswego as Plainfield North made off with a 62-40 win. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Panthers are ranked 255th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Downers Grove North has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points over those games. As for Plainfield North, their victory bumped their record up to 20-10.
