Basketball Recap: Morse Comes Up Short

Morse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Medomak Valley Panthers and fell 83-32. While losing is never fun, the Shipbuilders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Panthers are ranked second).

Morse's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Medomak Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Medomak Valley beat Morse by a score of 83-32 on Thursday.
