Football Game Recap: Jenkins vs. Shelby Valley

Shelby Valley had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They crushed Jenkins 47-6. That result is just more of the same for Shelby Valley, who also won the last time these teams played.

Shelby Valley's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 40 points in the first half. Jenkins couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 40-0 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for Shelby Valley in the second half, holding Jenkins to a measly 6 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving Shelby Valley a 1-0 record and starting Jenkins off at 0-1.
