Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison). They enjoyed a cozy 37-23 victory over the Corydon Central Panthers on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cubs considering their seven-point performance the matchup before.

Despite the loss, Corydon Central still got an impressive performance from Dane Naiman, who rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 181 yards and a pair of TDs.

Madison's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Corydon Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Madison will face off against Milan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Corydon Central, they will square off against Silver Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Dragons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.88 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
