Recap: Trinity Titans vs. Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks

The Trinity Titans's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down Hammond Academy of Science & Tech 47-29. That's another feather in the cap for Trinity, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Trinity got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacob Palmer out in front who scored 12 points along with four steals. Palmer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nathan Palmer, who scored nine points along with three steals.

Trinity's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12. As for Hammond Academy of Science & Tech, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will face off against Community Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Community Baptist Christian is coming into the contest with six straight defeats at home, meaning Trinity will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Hammond Academy of Science & Tech, they will head out on the road to square off against Marquette Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
