San Pasqual hadn't done well against Rancho Bernardo recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. The Golden Eagles walked away with  a   7-4  win over the Broncos. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Eagles also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2024.
  Brooklynn Clark was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Malia Verece, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
San Pasqual's  victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-7. As for Rancho Bernardo, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. San Pasqual is set to  take on  their familiar foe Del Norte  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rancho Bernardo will  square off against  rival Poway  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Broncos 3.8, the Titans 2.4) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
