Football Recap: Guyer Wildcats vs. Lewisville Farmers        
        
		
             If Guyer was feeling good  fresh off their  49-21 takedown of Little Elm last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Guyer Wildcats fell  27-17 to the Lewisville Farmers on Friday. Despite 127 more yards than the Farmers, the Wildcats couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
 Although Guyer took the loss, they still got scores from  Dj Black and  Mason White.  Kevin Sperry was another key player, rushing for 145 yards while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
 Even though they lost, Guyer was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 210  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 193  rushing yards in three consecutive  games.
 Guyer's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 6-3. As for Lewisville,  the  win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 6-3.
 Guyer will be playing in front of their home fans against Braswell  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Guyer is facing Braswell at the right time seeing as Braswell is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak. As for Lewisville, they will venture away from home to  face off against Little Elm  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The timing isn't great for Little Elm: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Lewisville has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
