Basketball Recap: Mt. Ararat Takes a Loss

Mt. Ararat lost against Oceanside back in January of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mt. Ararat Eagles took a 65-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oceanside Mariners. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Mt. Ararat's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Oceanside, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Mt. Ararat will venture away from home to square off against Fryeburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Ararat is facing Fryeburg at the right time seeing as Fryeburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Oceanside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Medomak Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Medomak Valley will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Oceanside surely won't give up without a fight.
