Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only John Carroll Catholic walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Jensen Beach Falcons on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Rams were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Falcons, so the Rams were just returning the favor.

While John Carroll Catholic won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-20.

Meghan Childs was the offensive standout of the match as she had eight digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

John Carroll Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Jensen Beach, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-14 record.
