Carroll suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Carroll Eagles vs. Enterprise Wildcats

The Carroll Eagles lost against the Enterprise Wildcats last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Carroll fell 52-43 to Enterprise. It was the first time this season that Carroll let down their fans at home.

Despite the loss, Carroll saw an underclassman step up: Devon Pruitt scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of N'jia Gosha, who scored 4 points.

Carroll has yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 6-2 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Enterprise, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Carroll will head out on the road to face off against Daleville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Daleville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Carroll is ranked 55th). As for Enterprise, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Geneva County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
